NV Sylvain Bock Justine Goutte Red Blend

A new cuvée from vines just outside of Alba-la-Romaine. Both the Syrah and Grenache saw a short carbonic maceration separately before blending two-thirds Syrah with one-third Grenache. In an effort to make a lighter, juicer style red, Sylvain chose to only bottle the free run juice from both tanks. At 10.5%, it’s certainly a light red wine, but still maintains a classic black olive, rustic dark fruited nose from the Syrah with the Grenache adding plenty of acidity and a light dusting of tannin on the finish.
