2018 Domaine Marcel Deiss Berckem Alsace

A tender, solar, ample, and vibrant wine, to be kept from now to 10 years.

This wine comes from plots of land located on the Bergheim finage, managed in biodynamics, and agroforestry, and with a daily concern for the greatest sustainability and the greatest respect for life. It is produced from all the historical Alsatian grape varieties that have been planted, mixed and harvested together.

The terroir of mixed limestone and marl forms a multicolored, shimmering object, made of bright and warm colors, heavy and thick, with a deep robe, and a complex and aromatic nose, leaving a persistent memory of a tropical fruit.

Serve with fish in sauce, white meats, blue-veined cheese, and pan-fried foie gras.
