VARIETAL

"A Quo" is a blend of Sangiovese, Cab Sauv, and Merlot. Each variety contributes its unique character, resulting in a wine that is both complex and approachable. While "A Quo" shares some similarities with Chianti (Sangiovese, Tuscan origin), it doesn't adhere to the strict regulations required for that designation. "A Quo" has characteristics of a Super Tuscan, as well, but doesn't perfectly fit the classic definition.

Ultimately, the label matters less than the wine itself.

We have here an excellent expression of Maremma.

NOSE

This wine has aromas of ripe cherry, juicy raspberry, and wild blackberry.

There are delicate floral notes of violets and a hint of spice, with

a subtle earthiness on the pleasant and embracing nose.

PALATE

On the palate, "A Quo" is a burst of vibrant fruit flavors,

balanced by smooth tannins and a refreshing acidity.

Notes of red and black fruit precede a touch of salinity and spice.
