This is the basic or “Villages” Level Pinot Noir. 20-year old German clones, the barrels are used barique from Liger-Belair and larger fuder barrels made from Frankonian oak. Cordon pruning like in Bordeaux as opposed to Guyot which is normal for the other pinots. 100% destemmed and that combined with the clonal material make for a fruitier, more forward style of Pinot.
